Model 501 Packager With Vertical Cup Infeed System
The Model 501 system can handle single and double poly coated paper and clay coated cups. Our system supports package sizes ranging from 2" x 2" to 24" x 65" and can operate at speeds up to 30 packages per minute. In this video, cups are automatically counted and transferred from the tower system to the bagging unit where they are packaged and then released for downstream processing. The 501 can incorporate a trim wind up for scrap removal or be configured in a “trimless” manner (thus scrap is left attached to the package versus being waste) along with a light screen cycling mechanism and perimeter interlocked guarding.
The system requires .43 to .60 CFM per machine cycle at 80 PSI for air and operates at 240 Volt, 3 Phase, 60 Hz, consuming 7.5-9 amps. The footprint of the Model 501-36 is 74" x 78", Model 501-52 is 74" x 82", and Model 501-65 is 74" x 99". We also offer optional tools such as a trim break detection eye, hole punch, and pin perforator assembly. The system utilizes centerfolded mail order film for E-Commerce applications and provides automated vertical bagging solutions for various industries, including Food Service and Laundry.
