Model 201 Vertical Packaging System Bagging Potatoes

In this video, the Model 201 is bagging and sealing potatoes. Individual potatoes are manually placed in the machine. Then, the Model 201, which features a constantly heated, coated seal bar assembly for odorless sealing of polyethylene and polyolefin films, automatically bags each potato. The potato is sealed in the material and can be conveyed or transferred to a shrink tunnel or heat sealer if shrink wrap material is being used. The Model 201, with a small footprint of 3' x 3.5', allows for vertical packaging, making it easy to package odd sizes and shapes in shrink-wrap or in poly bags - products like potatoes.

The machine operates with an air requirement of .12 CFM per cycle at 80 PSI and an electric requirement of 120 Volt - 1 Phase - 60 Hz - 15 amps. It can handle package sizes ranging from 2"" x 2"" to 8"" x 10"" and can achieve speeds of up to 35 bags per minute, depending on the product. Additional features include an Easy Open Perforator, Horizontal Discharge Conveyor, and Film Registration, along with safety features like Jaw Guards, a Pin Perforator Assembly, and a Static Eliminator.
